A tribute to the magnolia flower
This embroidery by Faby Reilly is a hymn to the beauty of the magnolia, ephemeral flower unfurling its light pink buds, always at the mercy of a shower or a gust of wind. This one, by contrast, will always preserve its splendor. Mounted into a small heart shape, almost small enough to fit in the hand, it will grace a doorknob or encase fragrance in your chest of drawers.
|
In the same collection
More variations on the flower. The natural linen background used for the sampler gives more softness, while the white linen used for the biscornu brings out the freshness of the colors.

Ethereal flower
This flower is full of contrast. Leaves, petals and corolla spring into round curves, arabesques and flaming spikes. Yet the flower retains lightness and delicacy, with a delicate mesh of cross stitch lines, that let the light through and create soft hues. Designed by Alessandra Adelaide, a Creative Poppy exclusive.
